There has been a serious spike in anti-anxiety medication prescriptions issued in the Lakewood area over the past couple of weeks, TLS has learned.
As Pesach nears, more and more people are anxious about the cleaning, baking, hosting and more, professionals tell TLS.
Most of the prescriptions issued were to women, though some were for men as well.
While doctors did not give a number of prescriptions issued, they said the numbers were much higher than previous years – excluding during Covid – which they believe is coupled by the financial pressures.
